53:52 Utterly fascinating, never thought of this before, but here "God is Love" means a pulling force, an attraction, what organizes the universe as a goal, a desired good. We know God in the experience of motivation; the "evidence" of God is in our own feeling.

You wanna add a sliver of life that's overlooked as far as meditation and mind control goes, look at the millions of soldiers who, even at Basic Training are told to stand at attention or parade rest for long periods of time. They're not told what to think only that if they slightly bend at the knees they might, I say ''might'' NOT pass out as the minutes become hours. They're not given religious instruction in how to meditate, they're not given a mantra or special breathing exercises. They're told to stand still and only move when ordered to do so by the chain of command. Here is where I found Zen meditation. Here is where I built an indestructible fortress within myself, and here is where I live today. *It's a double edged sword, a drill sergeant told me I was a ''brick'' as far back as 1986, and I've struggled to remember that I have agency, and can move whenever and wherever I like by my own volition ever since.🙃

I believe that the key aspect of reality that Rupert sheldrake struggles with is the relationship of time with the morphic field. Morphic field theory transcends classical physics ideas that information is transferred through physical objects such as jeans or through signal transfer through 3D space but it still treats time as a unidirectional progression from past to future as in classical physics. I Believe that's why he struggled with the question about healing our ancestors. Finding a way to fold in time as well as space would be an amazing advancement, although I don't know how experiments could be done to test it. I have also noticed in his work that he does not speak about the mechanism that holds the habitual information built into the morphic field. Quantum physicist, such as Amit Goswami, use quantum mechanics principles to explain morphic field theory as it is connected with space, time, and consciousness.

This is about rediscovering a taste for baloney because believing in something seems to be good for you even if it makes no sense. If you believed that wearing the same colour clothes every day would improve your life, it probably would. It is not the thing you believe in that makes the difference, it is the fact that you believe in it. However, I am not about to believe in something that makes no sense, just because I lack the opportunity to sing religious songs and perform rituals. There is stuff going on that we don't yet fully understand, but I am not going to call it god just because I don't have a better explanation. That would be rediscovering baloney that I rejected long ago. It is tragic that even someone as smart as Sheldrake is still suffering from the childhood brainwashing that all religious people suffer from. He knows it makes no sense, but is still desperately seeking an excuse to believe it. The latest excuse: "Religious people are happier, and statistically they live longer".

Separated from twin early in life and after 25yrs we met up in America where she lived. Just so ended up we had identical watch (female. Male) style difference only. We had a few other things similar. However! She a 56yr old egoic lady who lives in past getting plastic surgery regularly. She drinks, drugs, sexist, bossy, has 5 cats. Well I'd be nothing like that, not in the slightest... I'm living in Arizona desert away from city and humans by 80 miles with 8mile dirt road leading in. She's in a new million dollar home 6k square ft. And is absolutely materialistic. To a point which she stole my jewelry when I visited (35k worth). She got caught when sending a group message showing off her jewelry while in vacation in Mexico. Today after confrontation she's yet to return it.. So yes a few commonalities, but her boyfriend and I have much more in common. So it's a statistical thing. Look for similarities and you'll find them.. Otherwise I'd agree with you completely...

The project of understanding the double slit and quantum mechanics, has virtually been given up on. Science might need to cross pollinate with theological understanding to resolve their dilemma. Hand in hand, religion and science must possibly walk. The understanding of reality & the double slit has been stagnant now for 100 years, Solving the riddle of the double slit will likely need the assistance of Theology and Philosophy. Strict science will possibly never break open the understanding alone. Could if be a need to involve the Priest-scientists who can help access Tesla type knowledge, and the harvesting energy from zero point. with ignorance to solve the puzzle. We only have 5 physical senses with which to observe this 3 dimensional realty we live in. 1) sight, 2) smell, 3) taste, 4) hearing, and 5) touch. With our eyes open, we immediately observe the visible spectrum, and the 3 dimensional world in which we find ourselves, manifesting the single particle reality. With our eyes closed, the invisible spectrum of potentiality (interference pattern) possibly exists. This is much like the meditative state that monks seek. They are seemingly seeking connection with the (Ultimate) unified field. There are multiple realities possible, when we are not observing the play of existence. So why do we humans argue about veracity? Which possibility is the most true, or are all equal depending on ones belief system or vantage point? How many realities are there. The wisdom traditions from across the planet suggest there are more than one. Science would benefit by allowing such thought to be considered. If consciousness is truly vital to manifestation, all doors should be opened. Lets collaborate folks!!!

Sheldrake says a chair isn't self organised, but if the universe created life, then humans, then humans create the chair, then isn't the chair just as much an aspect of self organisation as anything else in the universe? I mean the universe might think it needs to make a chair and the mechanism by which it does it is by making a human, just like the mechanism for making a dog was making a wolf first. I know one is evolution and the other isn't, but it doesn't have to be the same mechanism, only that a mechanism exists.

There is nothing that makes the Israeli god anymore real than all the others people made up during the time. It's so dumb. It's like talking to a peson that think's Poseidon really exists and rules over oceans. Grow up. And the god the ancient Israelis made up is disgustingly evil. There are so many examples to show how evil the god is, but in Numbers 31 the god has them kill everyone in the city, including women and children just for the sin of settling there before them, and tells them to keep the female children as sex slaves since their virgins. There are a lot better gods to worship than the this one.
